Wiseman leaves American Forest American Forest Foundation President and CEO Larry Wiseman announced July 15 he will step down from the Washington, D.C.-based conservation group. A search started immediately. Wisemans departure caps more than 25 years with the organization. He joined the American Forest Institute, AFFs predecessor, in 1981. During his time with the group, it grew from six staff to 26 and a $2 million budget to $154 million in 2006, the latest year available. It also has a $150 million endowment.
